Przekaż informację zwrotną.We have been to THE CAV twice & on this occasion it was most dissapointing this time. Complimentary anchovy in pastry was nice. That's where it ended!! With wine pairing The Tomahawk meat was cooked poorly & certainly not med/well as requested. One serve needed to be re cooked so on the whole for PHP3200 our money would be better spent elsewhere.
I was lulled into a visit by a friend of a friend of a friend. There were three wine stations and in each one at least one bottle was off. The wine was meh and I paid over 2k pesos for four glasses. That is outrageous. A big plus is the design of the men's bathroom, but my main purpose of my visit was wine, not the bathroom. Nope this place is a negative outlier in everything that BGC has to offer.
My husband and two teenage girls were hungry when we arrived in Taguig at around 1:30 pm. We were hungry . We're headed to The Spa in Taguig and we decided to have our lunch at this restaurant since it is in the ground floor of The Spa. We were not disappointed. My husband loved the huge oysters, my daughters their lamb chops and beef. My husband also ordered the salmon. The meat were tender. We also ordered their panna cotta and their chocolate dessert . We were able to bond until 3:30 pm. It was such a memorable experience!
Cav is one of our (wife and I) go-to restaurants in Manila. We are a "wine first, food second" kind of couple and Cav has a great selection of wine by the glass and/or bottle. We have had one anniversary there, two family birthday dinners, at least a coupe of 'friends from overseas' dinners and a Monday 'just-need-some-cheese-and-red-wine-at-the-bar" night. So its a versatile and good quality, restaurant and bar. My kind of place.
If there's one restaurant I would definitely come back to, it's CAV. This is my favorite go-to place for business meetings either over lunch or dinner. Aside from the great food, they also have a wide variety of wines from all over the world.
