We also ordered a bean and cheese burrito, pastor burrito, quesadilla (which is more suited for children), pastor tacos, lengua tacos, cheesecake, tres leches carrot cake, and flan. We were a group of 7 and everything we ordered was delicious. The horchata was a bit sweet, but not overly so. The green salsa had a medium heat level and great flavor. The front garage door was open, creating a nice atmosphere outside and allowing for a fun view of foot traffic from the downtown Mesa area. Prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. Overall, we highly recommend this place!
We have visited this restaurant a few times and have always been impressed by the food. However, our most recent experience was extremely disappointing. The server who took our orders was rude and ungrateful, not even saying thank you when we left money in the tip glass. Additionally, he did not print our receipt without asking us first. When our food was brought to us, it was the wrong order, and the waitress did not handle the situation well. She insisted that we had ordered the incorrect item and did not apologize for the mistake. When we tried to explain that we did not order it, she simply brushed it off. The lack of communication and professionalism made for a frustrating dining experience. Despite enjoying the food in the past, this incident has made us decide to never return to this restaurant again.
They enjoy the flavors and selection of dishes. The service is very quick. The level of spice is just right.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience! The service was excellent, with a friendly waiter/bartender welcoming us with a smile. They provided detailed information about the history of the food and what made it popular. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant serves the best Margaritas in the Valley! They have definitely raised the bar when it comes to crafting Margaritas. The use of fresh fruit and the attention to detail in making the cocktail really shines through in the flavor. I recommend pairing it with a Rojas Gordita for a perfect midday snack. The staff here is just as fantastic as the food and drinks. What I love most about this place is how supportive and collaborative they are with the other restaurants on Main Street. It truly embodies the cool vibe of Downtown Mesa.
