Casa Del Matador - Meridian

The food at this restaurant is excellent, well-prepared and flavorful. The margaritas are amazing, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend trying the bartender's special Margarita and the Carnitas plate.

I really enjoyed the fantastic happy hour and personal recommendations at this restaurant. The ambiance of the place with its art and mood was wonderful. The menu offers a great selection of classic and signature dishes.

Our experience at El Matador was disappointing. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, looking forward to good food and drinks. Unfortunately, the margaritas were subpar. The classic margarita my husband ordered was overly salty, while my blackberry habanero margarita was just okay. The food was also not up to our usual standards. It could have been an off night or a new cook, but we likely won't be returning. We had high hopes for El Matador.

Not even done with my food, but had to write this! Great and friendly staff, salsa is pleasantly hearty and mild, but if you haven't yet, try the Ribeye tacos!!! A very unique blend of flavor whole still tasting like a traditional taco. Oh and the wild mushroom skillet is fantastic too!
