Welton Room - Meridian Station

I had an amazing experience at the Welton Room in Denver! I ordered the chicken and waffles with chorizo butter for brunch, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of crispy chicken and the savory chorizo butter was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The service was top-notch, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I can't wait to return and try more dishes on their menu. Five stars all the way!

If you're looking for a bougie brunch that's not just overpriced hype or a cute backdrop for social, don't skip Welton Room. As soon as you walk in you realize it's a place you want to be. The decor and colors are gorgeous and in perfect harmony with the bar and kitchen creations.I had the Smorgasbord, which has a surprising complexity that I won't soon forget. I added a side of potato smashers, because potatoes are delicious in all forms, and these have the perfect crisp to softness ratio. Oh and the Paloma...let's just say it was hard to put the glass down.My friend ordered the classic breakfast and the lemon ricotta pancakes. I'm not even a pancake person but after a small sample, I would order these. They're perfectly balanced between the lemon and overall sweetness – no syrup needed and I typically love a heavy coat of syrup.I'm so impressed by Welton Room, I'm already planning my next visit for cocktails and dinner.

We had such an amazing experience. The food was exceptionally amazing, especially the octopus and duck croquettes. Our favorite drinks were the Silk Road (a must for tea drinkers who have a sweet tooth) and the Smoking in Jerez (the best smoke forward drink we've EVER had). They have a decent happy hour, too.

We had drinks at the Monkey Lounge (cocktail lounge part of Welton Room) and the drinks were all delicious. I think I would have preferred to be in the actual Welton Room but making the online reservation was a bit confusing on what each had to offer. Our server said the Welton Room has a bigger cocktail menu and more choices so we know that for next time. The espresso martini was like a whole dessert! It was a cool, different take on an espresso martini. We will definitely be back to try out the other side.
