The wings were under cooked. I couldn't eat them because I feared I'd get sick. They only do personal pizzas which also was under cooke. The tables are on top of each other. Do not waste your time or money at this location. It was extremely disappointing.
Ok, so not your traditional wings. they smoke them they don't fry them. hubs and i have been doing a wing challenge.... we order what we want (in this case, buffa que and spicy buffalo) and then we order ONE of the hottest wings o n the menu. Not a fan of the wings themselves here.... sauces were .... ok. But man, that crush bomb wing will make the mouths of your ancestors burn!! probably the hottest wing we've ever eaten.... 15 minutes later, i can still feel the burn. If you like melt your face off hot try the crush bomb! I only gave three stars because the food was just ok. The vibe was cool, so that added a star..... maybe a good place to hang with friends.... but don't come if you want traditional wings.
Very excited to see Jason open up a place dedicated strictly to wings! His other spot (Crush Pizza Tap is a great spot in Highlands off 38th. Though I enjoy the pizza, the wings are in a class all their own. This spot opened up on East Colfax and it 's very much needed. A casual sports bar type atmosphere with above average eats. We came here a few weeks back to watch a playoff game and it was pretty crowded with sports fans. Not feeling wings? There are plenty of other items to order. Loaded fries, sandwiches, heck even some pizza options for you. Plus, they do an excellent job here with the vegan options. This is one of the best places in Denver to eat wings. With an abundance of sauces (some that 'll knock you back in your chair I 've never been disappointed with their wings. It 's a pet peeve of mine when places brand something as hot and it 's not hot. You won 't have that problem here, you 'll be sweating I promise you! In my opinion, their specialty is the smoked wing. Other places will offer smoked wings, but dare I say, they 're too smokey? At Crush, they 're smoked then fried making for the perfect bite. And they buy good sized birds here too, plenty of meat on them bones! Really the only negative for now is the service. It 's quite possible they were understaffed (who isn 't nowadays? and that could 've impacted how long we waited for certain items. We were there for a few hours ordering tons of beer, and it seemed like a project to get our orders in every time. But when it comes to food and drink, Crush is crushing it. It 's not often you 'll find Jester King and chicken wings on a bed of waffle fries on a bar menu. So, I AM HERE FOR THIS! Kudos Jason, I know your place will only get better and better over time! Now I want wings...
Well, since Natasha never called my husband decided to call the restaurant again because at this point it 's about principle, especially since Natasha was rude and basically hung up on me. We spoke with Drew and he was understanding enough to forward our concern to the owner Jason. Now, waiting on a call from Jason. I will say though, you 'd think that for a place that is recently opened they 'd pride theirselves on customer service. It doesn 't seem like that here. I 'd be like oh the food wasn 't good? Here 's a refund. We 'd love to have you back again for a better experience. We shall see...
We're so happy to have Crush Wing and Tap in the neighborhood. We would drive from Central Park to the Highlands before to get these delicious wings. You can't go wrong with their smoked, grilled wings. Highly suggest the buffalo green chili, buffalo, and buffalo bbq.
