Applebee's Grill - Merced

Food and service were in order. my girl was really happy with eating. I thought it was good, just not great. nothing bad is that I wasn't in the place. I was hoping the ribs would fall from the bones. but they weren't. they were a little overcooked. if they look at the cooking shows, gordon ramsey would have sent them back. but I don't complain. You never know what a place could do with eating if you complain. I'm not saying they're doing this, but I don't want to find out. we're coming back.

Arriving there I was greeted by a man with an exceptionally bright and warm smile, and took 15 minutes to get a seat (mind you it was a one person party), and the waitress was attentive and asked if I needed anything every 5 minutes, if anything slightly too attentive. the whole experience was good overall, but the waitress giving me the bill seconds after I finished my meal made things feel a bit rushed.

I'll go with friends if that's where they want to go. It seems like they microwave a lot of their food. I don't understand why anyone wants to spend their money there. You could get hot food from 7-11, put it on a nice plate and you Applebee's.

The appetizer was delicious. I never received my meal. The waitress wrote down everyones order except mine although I was the 1st person to place my order. I even pointed it out on the menu for her. When the manager was notified he was able to provide an excuse but no apology. The waitress did not apologize either.

The perfect strawberry margarita is delicious. had the brezel and beer cheese appetizer and it was better than I expected.
