Mission Bbq - Mentor

Sunshine lived up to her name. Not only was she attentive but she was delightful!!! The food itself is good. Simple, but good. The draw is the selection of regional BBQ sauces on the table. My only reason for holding back from 5 stars was the lack of uniqueness. It felt like I was in a Chipotle for BBQ. Which there's nothing wrong with. Quick service, good food, and it's something different.

Stopped here from out of town after a soccer game today, and wish we lived closer. What a great place! Phenomenal food and service are hard to come by separately, but this place has both! And the cherry cheesecake, incredible. Will definitely make the drive to eat here again!! Thank you for a fantastic dinner!!

One of the most friendly and helpful staff in all of lake county. If you like really good Smoky Barbecue this is a MUST It?s finger licking good ?. Fresh cut French Fries and there blend of vinegar I died and gone to heaven. This is not a cheap bargain bottle of barbecue sauce. Good quality food friendly staff and respectful to our customers country and service personnel what more can you ask for. Reach in your wallet and pay the bill the food is fantastic

I usually go in the evening but today I had lunch with an old friend and we talked for a long time. The gentleman that was working the dining room still checked to see if we needed anything. He was pleasant and so was the entire visit. In this day and age, showing your patriotism is not always welcome. Not only is it there, you can participate. Good visit.

Summer 2022 update: still great service, still amazing food. Go there. Eat meat, and be happy. Mission BBQ is one of my favorite BBQ places. I was super excited when I head we were getting on in Mentor. The service is always outstanding. The staff are quick and friendly and always willing to help. The food is always good. I've been to the Canyon, OH location a handful of times and the food there is consistent to here. The meats are always good quality and cooked to perfection. The sides are flavorful and you get a good amount of them. I love the selection of glass bottle sodas and then there's a good selection of fountain drinks, tea, and lemonade. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The variety of sauces is enough to please everyone. If you haven't been here, give them a try!
