Puerto Viejo - Mendoza

Un lugar sencillo, con buena comida, buenos precios. Al estilo bodegón,simple pero ordenado y bien servido.

Soy asiduo concurrente a este restaurant y siempre vuelvo convencido de que los lomos al malbeck son los mejores que he comido.Las pastas excelentes.El precio es muy bueno y la relación precio calidad insuperable.Cuando estés en Mendoza no dejes de ir

Es un bonito lugar para comer algo en familia o con amigos. Muy bueno para pedir algunos platos y acompañarlos con una buena cerveza.

I have been to this restaurant over a half dozen times. It never disappoints. At the same time, it is Argentinian comfort food: milanese, pasta, lomo, chicken. The quality is always at least good. Indeed, the quality of the raw ingredients is very good. But, this is not haute cuisine. The chicken with mushrooms never disappoints, the cuts of beef at cooked well (if not to order!) and even the chicken is tasty. One of my favorites is the chicken with mushrooms. I have probably never seen a tourist here. However, this is very well known by locals. So well, in fact, that most locals I know don't even know its name. It is referred to by its street, "Juan B. Justo". Whereas, it is across the street from a very trendy, and good, restaurant, Ana Bistro, Juan B. Justo is anything but. I often go there with my wife and her sister. The two of them are usually half to two thirds of the women in the restaurant. It is where local men have dinner and wine with their male friends. Now, a few words about the wine. Don't expect too much an feel free to bring your own. I have been consistently disappointed, although for my recent visit we had the vina touristica white wine for 35 pesos. It was a blend of chenin and torrontes - non-vintage, but tasty. I highly recommend this to those who are not seeking a gastronomical experience, but who do wish to see the food that sustains locals prepared for good ingredients and prepared well.

Me encanta este lugar. Tiene todo: Un gran ambiente, platos simples de calidad bien preparados, atención presente pero no cargosa y precios razonables.
