Chipotle Mexican Grill - Memphis

The cleanliness was the most troubling issue. There wasn't a single trash can that wasn't overflowing, and none of the tables were clean. They were all littered with trash, food remnants, and used condiments. I had to wipe down my table and chair with napkins just to make them somewhat presentable. The Coke Zero fountain drink machine was malfunctioning, spraying soda everywhere except into my cup. The staff were average; the girl at the hot station was clearly struggling, constantly running out of ingredients. Whenever she called for more, it felt like the kitchen staff didn't acknowledge her, requiring her to repeatedly go back to remind them. Meanwhile, the cashier seemed more focused on her phone and chatting with coworkers than processing my order. As I mentioned, the front half of the restaurant was in terrible shape. If that’s how the customer area looks, I can only imagine how unsanitary the kitchen must be. While the food was good, I won't be returning to this particular Chipotle. If you care about your health and safety, I would advise you to steer clear if you can.

This restaurant is in need of improvement. The establishment was unclean, with a sticky drink station. The staff didn’t seem to pay attention when taking orders; they seemed more focused on rushing through them than ensuring accuracy. I even heard some negative comments from the employees. Overall, my experience was disappointing. The rice was undercooked and lacked flavor.

I am very disappointed with this location. My family are devoted Chipotle fans, but this place does not meet our expectations at all. The staff was incredibly rude, and the bathrooms were absolutely filthy (I have a picture showing the mold under the sink in the women's restroom). The toppings counter was a mess, with food scattered everywhere, and the drink station was sticky and unclean. The trash cans were overflowing, there were no forks available, and the bathroom ran out of toilet paper. When I poured a cup of sweet tea, I noticed strange black particles floating in it. I tried again, and the same issue occurred. It’s probably the same black substance found under the sink in the restroom. The health department really needs to step in because this situation is unacceptable and could lead to someone getting sick.

Rice hard and crunchy. I was also told by the manager ? they don?t have to put everything you ordered on your? exact words!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor customer service. The New location in Summer is so much better. The food is fresh and you receive fair portion sizes.

Blandest Chipotle i had in my life. The chicken barely had flavor. The food line was messy, esp. at the end where the cold toppings are. The sour cream had a bunch of stuff in it. (The customer before me had to ask for them to change lettuce bc ?it looked nasty?, they did. The customer service wasn?t the best but not the worse. But this is the First chipotle i went to where instead of opening a fresh container of sour cream, their solution was for me to eat my food without any. I had to tell a third employee i was allergic something that another worker said may be in the sour cream for them to give me some from the to go station. Pros: dining room was clean, line moved at a good pace.
