The Pizza Gallery - Melbourne

I experienced a humiliating and disrespectful incident at a pizza restaurant called "Gallery" on Malvern Rd. I called to place an order for a large pizza and was told it would be ready in minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, the waiter informed me it would be a couple more minutes. After waiting for longer than expected, I asked again about my order. The owner, a skinny bald Caucasian male, rudely told me not to come back because I had been waiting longer than the time quoted over the phone. When I expressed my disappointment in his attitude, he told me to leave and even seemed aggressive. I feared for my safety as he demanded I exit the restaurant. Despite the good pizzas they serve, I will not be returning due to this unacceptable treatment. I plan to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria about the owner's behavior. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and receive what they pay for. An apology and a simple explanation would have sufficed, but instead, the owner escalated the situation unnecessarily.

We enjoyed a satisfying meal at Milton's wine bar. We ordered and paid over the phone, and our food was promptly delivered to us. The only downside was the lack of gluten-free pizza options. Although the gluten-free pasta was tasty, it was disappointing that they do not offer gluten-free pizza, as many other restaurants in Melbourne do.

I absolutely adore the pizzas at this restaurant. I arrived just before closing time and they were willing to stay open for me. Thanks for the excellent service too.

This is the second time we visited this restaurant. The young staff was obviously untrained.and were unable to answer any questions. although one was there were and half prawns in the spaghetti dish. As we all had children who had part time jobs, we...understood. But what is inexcusable was the placing of the plates in one pile with the cutlery in a pile next to one of our group. Obviously there was no training. The food was tasty and reasonably priced and we'll probably return.

Pizza was very slow to arrive and undercooked when it did finally arrive. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
