I had a great experience at Salt Water Fish Chips during my first visit. The food was delicious but not perfect, the seating was comfortable with a nice view, and the service was friendly but not obsequious. The steamed dim sim had a thick, moist skin and was not overcooked like another place nearby. The hamburger was tasty and held together well, with a friendly staff member making it. The restaurant has nice wooden chairs and tables, providing a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience at Salt Water Fish Chips.

Do: the great value seafood packs. <br/ <br/ Don't: go to any other fish and chip place. This is arguably the best one in Bentleigh. <br/ <br/ Tip: phone ahead and avoid the long queues.

These guys have been here for over 40 years and they definitely have not lost their magic touch! Tonight I got takeaway from here for my family. We ordered two hamburgers, a souvlaki, hot chips and potato cakes. The burgers were mouth watering! Large portions and very filling. The souvlaki was delicious succulent meat and juicy. The chips were crunchy as well as the potato cakes salted perfectly and tasted amazing.

These guys know what they are doing, that is why they have been around for 40 years. Crunchy chips, fresh fish, good value for money. My first visit was last night, it definitely will be the first of many.
