Nineteen 11 - Medicine Hat

I stumbled on 1911 by accident when I visited in early may while a burlesque show was taking place. I was in a large group and the owner/manager was so kind to accommodate our party. The show itself was honestly amazing. The theme of the night was movies/ musicals and it was so much fun. The outfits were fantastic (especially the singing in the rain one, loved it! . The dancers themselves did a fantastic job in what is a pretty difficult space to twirl in (thick columns . The show was very classy and well choreographed. In between numbers they did some crowd work which was so entertaining and fun. This was my first real visit to medicine hat and I was not expecting this level of talent in such a small town in Alberta. Seriously, the PinHerUppers blew me away with their performance. Additionally, the Blood Orange Mule is probably the best drink I've ever had. It was delicious. I've been to Vegas, I've been to the Aviary in Chicago which is known for cocktails, and this Blood Orange Mule takes it for me. I have never had such a yummy cocktail. 1911 is now a must go place for me when I visit Medicine Hat. I was only there for a night and my accidental experience was one of the best nights I've had. I feel like I only scratched the surface on what 1911 offers and I'm excited for the next time I go so I can try more things.
