Great little Italian restaurant. Food was good, I have had better Italian but I could tell this was authentic and I appreciate that. More diversity on the menu would have been nice.
This place is authentic Italian, with cooking from the central Italy area. The staff is very friendly. There is outside seating, but being on a major roadway, it is noisy, so we chose to eat inside. My wife and I split a Caesar salad, which was fantastic. The dressing was hand-made, not from a bottle. We both ordered the fruiti di mare made Genovese style. It has shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari and was covered with a very thick red report style sauce served over rigatoni. We paid $2 extra to have some home baked bread and olive oil, but it was worth it. The meal, with one glass of wine, tip, and tax, came to $90. We did not order dessert. Everything tasted great, but my wife and I decided that we prefer Sicilian style cooking. Parking is on-street, and while we found one at 5 pm, it would have been difficult to find one if we had gone later.
Great service and delicious food, we started with the Bruschetta which was excellant. I was very happy with the Fusilli al Ragu Irpino, the meatballs were fantastic and the Fusilli and Sauce was perfect.
Amazing! Everything was so delicious. From appetizers, entrees to dessert multi fantastico! Mario gave us such good recommendations and attention. Gratia!
