La Tienda De La 70 - Medellín

Is a typical colombian fonda the food was good, nothing spectacular, but what really bothered me was the service. It was just terrible, an evident lack of communication between the staff, I had to ask 3 times for a beer. The waitress was super messy,...and over confident with me and my family. There was a few waiters that were super drunk, and were just bothering everybody. I think that was the last time that I go there, it 's such a shame that a typical paisa place, doesn 't represent any of the kindness of these beautiful people. Not going back there.

Had a great time here trying to dance Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia...and more. It is a little cramped, but other than that it is a solid night out.

And it looked good. However, the last reviews were somewhat above the place. I had a good meal and would recommend. The waitress was fantastic and did good work. I had the cherry and it was good. A little hard... but was cooked properly. Salad was good and portions were nice. Steak had a good taste. Prices were above average for Colombia, but well below average for the USA. I would recommend it.

First time at la tienda, place is as Colombian as you can find in the city with good prices some places similar to this are much more expensive.If you have a large group make a reservation because the place gets packed and tables run out even do its a large establishment.They have good tasting food and drinks at a reasonable price.Place does have a cover to get in or a minimum amount you consume which is very reasonable. This keeps looser out that want to buy a single beer all night.Highly recommend it's fun safe place.

We went to this place hoping to get some food and drinks as it was the last night for one of my travelling companions. When they started to demand what drinks and food we had to buy instead of getting to choose, we decided to leave. My guess is that they saw two male "gringos" with a small group of local women and assumed we were rich and could be ripped off. We found a nicer place across the road.
