The place itself is looking good and has a good vibing atmosphere. We sat on the patio on a lovely day and that was a big plus. The service was very good and food came out super quick(maybe even too quick... .Also the meany is reasonably priced. But the the reason we are here for is the food.....We ordered wings and Burrata salad for starters. The wings were dry and crunchy(feel like the wings were not fresh the Burrata salad was ok, a bit bland some salt and pepper did lift it up. I've had better. For the main course we ordered meat loaf and pot roast.Meat loaf was dry, felt like it was made hours back and kept warm all day till it lost all its juice. The sauce on it tasted like ketchup. The pot roast was also dry but way more. It was very chewy and some of it was even crunchy.Again a feeling it was in the heat all day. Less cooking and more fat should make this iconic but simple dish taste like heaven. The sides honestly not worth mentioning. For desert we ordered fried Oreos, first time for me.... It Avery simple dish basically a donut filled with an Oreo cookie . The presentation was taken straight from the 80's with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup random drizzle. For the sweet tooth among you it will do the trick.Overall 3 stars, food is 2.
I had high expectations for this restaurant as the reviews are great. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. We came for an early dinner around 5:30 pm and were seated quickly on the patio which is large and comfortable for a beautiful outdoor experience. We were greeted by our server right away and ordered appetizers, chicken wings with sweet chili sauce and original buffalo and burata salad. The flavors of this dish were excellent for both sauces but the chicken was a little dry and chewy. The salad was nice and fresh, I enjoyed it a lot.My main course was the slow cooked pot roast covered in brown gravy with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Again, great flavors but the meat was also dry and a bit chewy. I really liked the mashed potatoes and gravy. Hubby got a fan favorite of meatloaf, which we both thought was ok. I ended the meal with some fried Oreos, which I mean, yum right?!Overall nothing wowed me and everything was mediocre or OK at best. Great service though!
This was our first time at 11l17 and we will be back. The food was excellent and our server was attentive and answered all of our questions. There were a number of gluten free options which made selection easier. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. There is a feeling of being home and having a nice meal with family.
My wife and I came here for a late night dinner. Carrie our server was top notch. We really enjoyed the chicken salad pimento cheese plate and the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was loud ambiance. We would come again.
Food and service is amazing! Our favorite local spot. Salmon is a must try. Never disappoints.
