Mcconnells Kitchen

My parents live in the area, so we decided to come by on a Sunday for lunch. We ended up getting the buffet for $12 since there were so many yummy options. Food was great. I've never been to a buffet before where you get all you can eat food, but only get 1 portion of 1 of the dessert options. I am a dessert girl, so I was a little bummed that the dessert was limited.

First off let me say they have some of the best fried chicken you can buy. And when they first opened I had the pleasure of stopping in one day to some pork chops w/gravy that were to die for. Since then, I have never gotten the same pork chops even when they stated it was on the buffet. One of my biggest complaints is the bread. They never seem to have fresh bread unless you actually ask for it and even then at times can't get any. You will have to ask for a bun if you want something fresh and risk being charged for it. They have not charged me for one yet, but have been told they would. Also, who ever went to a buffet and yet they limit your dessert? I have never heard of that anywhere but here.

Absolute diamond in the rough! The servers are very polite, professional, and attentive, the appearance is VERY appealing, a beautiful log cabiny feel, and the food.... Oh my god. The food is amazing! Hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection. My family and I just moved to the area, and will DEFINITELY be frequenting this establishment.

This place has buffet everyday with different entrees each day. Food is homestyle country cooking just like grandma used to do!! Forget Cracker Barrel, you know the place where they charge you a good amount of money for small portions, McConnells Kitchen is fabulous and if it was located in a town the size of Rock Hill or larger, you probably wouldn't be able to get a table in the evenings!! Anyways, its worth the drive over to McConnells for this place!!!

Fun place! Food is good and staff is super friendly. We ordered off the menu instead of going with the country buffet. We are trying the buffet next time! Tons of choices, veggies, salad bar, soup and dessert. It was also fun to check out the flea market next door! We will definitely be back!
