Jalapeno's Grill - McAllen

Went on Taco Tuesday, placed our order ate very good due to the Fajita very good, tasty tender. I'm giving it 2 stars because there's NO Taco Tuesday!!! We got the bill I was surprised with the total being a party 5!!! I should have known something was up because restaurant was empty compared to other Tuesdays! Oh by the way, the waiter didn't mention tacos were not $0.50 and no specials at the bar.

Nice atmosphere, older calmer crowd. However, the last time I went there my card was cloned and 260 dollars was taken. My advice would be to use cash instead.

It's just okay. If you want to listen to live music and not talk, live band is amazing. Drinks are on the pricey end and there's not much dance floor.

I went for a party and the service wasn't good. People kept getting the wrong order. For the prices you expect to get better food. I heard the steak was good but I can't confirm I do know it cost $25 and I don't know what you get with it. I ordered a botana for 2 and it was bad. There wasn't a lot of beef, and it was tough. I couldn't find any beans and they were supposed to be there. Personally I won't go back.

The restaurant has expanded their popular $1 margarita specials to include $3 margaritas that come in a large size. Additionally, they have updated their menu which will take some time to get used to. The atmosphere is lively with good music, delicious food, and friendly service from the waitress.
