Swill 'N' Grill - Mayfield

The bistro/restaurant in the Stag and Hunter Hotel. Food was good. Steaks cooked to your likeing. Though not cheap and especially with sauces extra. The gravy i ordered with the steak was barely a table spoon, i asked when ordering to have gravy over all steak and chips ,but was told that was extra again?? Staff were friendly and helpful. Will go again. Buti think management should reconsider extras $$ for just gravy , or more tgam just a table spoon over the food.

Menu not extensive, but covers all bases. Rump steak was tasty, dianne sauce nothing to rave over, but still pleasant, Chicken schnitzel needed a big appetite to complete and was delicious. Great coffee completed the meal. Good pub food, great service, great staff.

Food is amazing, service and speed of service is great. the atmosphere and all the staff are great. Steak and pastas are AMAZING.

I usually come here once a fortnight as it is my local for a meal. The menu has changed recently and I highly recommend the pork belly. Some of the prices are quite expensive but with the vouchers then this makes the meals more affordable. A nice place for a get together with friends or family.

Went with friends. Food is good but noting spectacular, Bruschetta is a bit unusual, bring out the bread, and the onion/tomato/herb mix is in a separate bowl, good idea, have a much or as little as you want. Old pub on a main road, interesting old photos on the wall, good mix of craft and mainstream beers
