Riverview Chipstand - Mattawa

A place I have conscious memory of coming to since the 80's, Riverview offers great burgers, hot dogs, fries, and of course, poutine, all on a lovely setting overlooking the shores of the Ottawa river and across to wild Quebec. I was fortunate to be able to sate my culinary desires just a few days ago. For the first time in two years, I was pleased to see my old Mattawa poutinery had survived the pandemic.

Been going there since I was a child. Used to be owned by friends of my family. The new owners kept the poutine just as good as before. One on my favorite spots to eat for the last 20 years!

We shared a small poutine and it was the perfect snack. The lady working there seemed really nice.
