Doc's Fish Camp Grill - MARBLE FALLS

We were at an impromptu weekend in marble if, so we decided to try doc’s for dinner at the arrival. the service was great as the live music. eating was also tasty, although I will say that I was a little surprised when I received my speck wrapped scallops. it was on a side panel that seemed very small for a $25 plate. that said I was much full of my dinner, and the scallops were delicious. guess we just need to get used to higher prices everywhere. food, and eat. but I wanted to mention it so that future diners can take this into account before the skallops are ordered. I want to try if you're in the opposite.

After the arrival, no one welcomed me. someone was on the phone and a girl was behind the bar and none of them looked up or recognized me. that's good, I'm sure they were preoccupied. then someone came out of the kitchen and went right past me, wait at the entrance podium and no word from her. Finally another girl came out and asked if someone had helped me and said that she was sorry. she was very sweet! I wish I got her name because she was the best hired. I sat and got a man as a waiter. he was very blunt without smiling. apparently everyone here had a bad day? I understand we all have them. I ordered the fried fish and garnel and was so excited to try. the excitement went immediately when I took one bite. the fish was thick, very oily, and the dough wouldn't even stick to it. I will go on a limb and say the oil was not kept hot and too much meat was put in the frit. I ate what I could and had to throw the rest. so all in all, differentiate. a lot of luck next time.

Good food and wonderful service. the autumn was on her game. refilled drinks and always smiling. baked brussels are so good. Cajin cores were good, but not sharp. embroidered crab was delicious.

The food was okay, fried plate was as expected, the service was on point! but my chewing gum I ordered was only sauce, I hardly have anything but rice and sauce. the gummy bear of my friend was loaded with food like garnel and sausage (which before eating and theirs while eating their gummy?) I wouldn't know why I didn't get one. I notified my waitress and she brought another cup of rubber bears to supplement my bowl....OF more sauce!? really disappointing to see that I wanted to dinate here from time to time from visiting this area.

Stopped by this seafood restaurant on a trip to Marble Falls and it was amazing! Some of the best seafood I?ve had in a while. Everything was so light and crispy, but not oily. Even the sweet potato fries were crispy which no restaurant ever does. Definitely try it out if you?re in the area. Thank you Shelly for the great service (she was my waitress)!
