Stark Brewing Company - Manchester

Stark Brewing is a beautiful spot right in the heart of Manchester New hampshire, it has its own lot with paid parking and has a great atmosphere, however I did not find the food or the beer to be very good. I try to flight of six beers, two of them were pretty good but the other four all had a bitter tartness in the finish. They make sours here so I'm wondering if there's cross-contamination, perhaps it was just a tough time in the brewery but they all had that same similar tart aftertaste. I ordered a French dip, the meat was very tender and the sandwich prepared nicely, but the dip (some of which was poured over the meat) was incredibly salty (might have had msg it was waaay to salty tasting). My bartender was wonderful. As soon as the kitchen helper dropped my sandwich she saw it had no fries and went to fix that right away. So beer... not great, kitchen...not great, beertender... great, atmosphere...great. mixed bag but perhaps just an off night.

Amazing place. Went there on a Tuesday and the fish tacos and live music were both amazing. Lots of beer choices.

The food is good, but recently the beer seems to be going downhill. I had a Pilsner back in December that really resembled a sour. It was tart. Today I had the blood orange IPA, which I’ve loved in the past, but it was weird… dark amber in color and tasted like soap. There’s something off in the beer. Is it the lines? I know you guys have been around a while. I hope it gets better!

In an old mill building, friendly service, very clean, dog friendly also, great specials during the week and an awesome happy hour. Karaoke n live music also.

Excellent food and a great variety of outstanding beer.
