Place is great. My one knock though is how they’re not pet friendly even outside. It makes zero sense to not allow pets on leashes as it’s perfect setting for that. We have to travel with dogs and we had to do takeout instead of enjoying the atmosphere and buying more drinks to enjoy the evening. Loved the food and location but that was odd and I think would keep me from going here again
One of those amazing experiences on your road trip when everything comes together: food, vibe, location, incredible owner who you can see is dedicating herself 100% to make sure every guest leaves happy. The ranch setting so close to the town is amazing.Gracias Dos Alas! The space is small, that’s why try to get a reservation to secure your spot.
We were told about Dos Alas by a local, and were so grateful for the recommendation. The atmosphere is fun, casual, and friendly; the decor is colorful and eclectic, inspired by the cuisines served; and the setting with meadows and the Sierras in the background is beautiful. But the food! So delicious. We are vegetarians, and we ordered the tortilla española, pickled pigeon peas, and tostones (green plaintain fritters . I can't say enough good things about all of these. (The couple at the next table were similarly ecstatic about their non vegetarian meal. Very highly recommended.
Amazing service and absolutely incredible food. Every single thing we tried was mind blowing. You'll be full but don't miss the coconut bread dessert. Get it to go if needed. It's unbelievably delicious!Kid-friendliness: We had a baby with us and we were given a table away from folks as we were anxious about COVID but it was too windy to sit outside. Such lovely people.
