Seashore Rooftop - Mamallapuram

Very near to the sea, in fact the closest amongst others available in that stretch. Sea lovers, its a must go. if you looking for a posh restaurant setting, stay away. Its a low frill joint run as a family business. Prices are slightly on higher side. Red Snapper is a must try. Value for money

We went here for dinner. We were urged to buy a whole snapper. It tasted ok. Food took ages to get to the table. Cold coffee was average. Banana fritters were limp. When we got the bill, the guy told us that it was without service tax so we should pay that on top. Erm...that's only if you give good service dude! Our choice, not your rule! Overpriced and didn't deliver. The only thing going for it is its location. Lovely sea views.

Brought by our guide, so in confidence we have deliciously eaten calamars in marsala sauce accompanied by rice. we were the only customers so the service was diligent and very kind. prices seemed correct to us. to recommend

A lovely rooftop resterant on the beach serving good food,fresh fish and a very nice waiter who enjoys his job and meeting and chatting to the tourists.you want to go back again and again.

Food is ok - fish is fresh and delicious (but no good soups). View is ok. Quite windy. But cooking is too long.
