STOCKTON PLACE - Makati City

Stockton Square was a very happy walk around the makati area. Cosy ambience with excellent dishes makes it a treasure that I would definitely go back.

Quaint, intimate semi-fine dining place in Salcedo. Small European menu but enough choices that are.well presented and tasty. Service staff was respnsive to feedback, he gave us some treats. Wine selection. There are a.steps.to.navigate so those in wheel chair might find it a challenge.

First time I visited this place, I ordered the Smoked King Salmon salad. Very little salmon and lots of bitter arugula that scarred me for life (I now have a phobia of arugula). Second visit went better. Ordered the clam linguine, which was okay. Cheesecake had fresh strawberries which was nice. Maybe next time I should order their steak. Ambience is intimate. Good place for date nights.

Great 700 gram rib eye steak for sharing, spag aglio olio was pefectly al dente but did not have a garlic taste inspite so much crispy garlic it was quite insipid, the salads were perfect, desserts were epic fails or I just did not understand them or the intention of the chef. Perfect ambiance casual but quiet.

Cosy restaurant with good food and ambience. Could be hard to sit large groups during the busy hours, reservations recommended. They respond very much to coordination.
