Our hotel recommended this restaurant, which was down the street. We were greeted and seated right away. We split a mixed salad (8 euros), which was more than the two of us could finish. We had the lobster paella (20.9 euros each), which was a lot of food. We each got a whole lobster and lots of other shellfish with perfectly cooked rice. A small bottle of media vina real crianza was 9 euros for red wine my husband enjoyed. With bread and mineral water the bill for two was 65,30 euros. The service was attentive.
After our arrival in Madrid late in the evening, our hotel recommended this restaurant located in an unremarkable neighborhood on a busy main street. Once we entered, we found the restaurant to be homey and comfortable inside, with locals eating, drinking and chatting away. We tried our best to order in our rudimentary Spanish but the nice waiter brought out an English menu to make it easy for us. We ordered the sea bass and grilled sole with white house wine. Both the dishes were cooked well and we enjoyed our first real meal after a long flight. Even though the bar seemed to be popular, this is a pretty low-key place for a quiet dinner. This was a great introduction to Spanish food for us and to we were really glad we ate here.
Menu mainly based in Basque cuisine. Good products, well executed, at a very reasonable price. Excellent service tops the good experience.
Attentive, fast and efficient. large terrace, very cold beer and perfectly served with good appetizer. If you take more than one, the lid they put on can be apotheosic.
