Ancora Cafe Bakery - Madison

This is a counter service establishment with abundant seating inside and out. Despite much of the outdoor seating being on the street it was a peaceful area with plenty of overhead shade and minimal traffic.Most importantly the Honey Bacon Biscuit was phenomenal! The biscuit was flavorful with good texture and the bacon was real bacon, not some sad paper thin 'bacon ' excuse.As for the Carnitas Benedict, it was decent but had too many flavors that conflicted each other and ultimate sabotaged itself.

We had the fruity pebble latte. It was amazing, it truly tastes different as the syrups hit your palette.Food is always tasty after a reasonable wait.Today is UW graduation and we still only waited 5 min to order and about 20 for food to arrive.Pictures are from our entrees -Breakfast Brisket Quesadilla.Breakfast burrito.All super tasty, substantial amounts and a great start to our Saturday.

Great food for vegans and non vegans, nice drinks and gorgeous interior, will be bringing family from out of state here for sure.Food: 5/5

One of the few places with white espresso. 10/10 for their Zombies. The seasonal variations are creative and delicious. But even just a standard does the trick for me.Their food is surprisingly good. I normally am expecting a breakfast sandwich but it’s more than that! Not a traditional “brunch” spot but would highly recommend their food and coffee.

Absolutely loved the food and drinks! I got the Chorizo Hash, a cappuccino, and a ****. The food was extremely flavorful and I'd get it again! The **** has a fresh earthy taste to it and the cap was perfect. Beautiful place with lots of plants and an amazing staff thank you so much!Food: 5/5
