Must say the Madelia subway is the worst,so I would think twice going to Madelia subway Meal type: Dinner
Me and my cousin went there before closing 7:30 and only one person was working. we tried being quick. I think her name was Ashly (or something with a, a) great work 10-10 gave a tip 15% wanted to tip more sadly couldn’t Parking: Great but small Kid-friendliness: Small and good food Wheelchair accessibility: It’s flat and very spacey Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
This is a NEW location now Inviting interior, tasty food fast, meal deals. We asked, and the sandwich worker said it is not owned by the same owners as the former Subway (the old Subway was in a gas station). The new store is brand new in a newly built mini-strip mall whose other occupant is currently a boutique. Construction is still in progress in the lot (and maybe interiorally but that's not evident, except their drive thru isn't quite open yet). Currently, you can order online and pick up indoors. Very clean place; friendly staff; fresh food. Brand new everything. It's very enjoyable and, unlike any other restaurant in Madelia township, IT'S OPEN ON MONDAYS The parking lot is small/tight; at high usage times, please drive park back up with great care in this compact lot: It was there before Subway opened so...to no fault of theirs regarding the small lot probably. We're local sometimes, and the new store is a refreshing spot that we've already enjoyed twice in their first week; local visiting however we don't know the owners or the workers or any of that ... so, it's an honest review without the small town bias that can skew reporting accuracy about small town hospitality or lack thereof. To be clear, this new Subway has very hospitable workers. Again, we know none of them; so, it's simply very refreshing to have this situation here. Thank you. Good jobKeep up the good work........... Wheelchair accessibility: Designated seating; wheelchair friendly doorways, spacious between tables, and large restroom [unisex]. I'd personally like to see a privacy door or wall or divider around or on one side of the bathroom entrance so the bathroom interior isn't visible from the dining area when others are going in and out. A small divider would help it seem like greater effort was made to separate the food area from the toileting area, since there's no hallway. It would just seem a little more private and sanitary, is all, to block it off a little bit. I hope there's an industrial fan in the toileting area to keep bathroom odors discreet and at a minimum. Odor waffling into the dining area has *NOT* been an issue during any of our dining times! Perhaps we're over thinking the design. This concern aside, the new place is absolutely [still] 5 Stars.
Food was good, but Robert was too hung up on what type of bread we wanted. He wouldn't make the sandwiches for the other 3 in the group, without knowing the 4th person's bread...It was kind of weird.
The service was horrible the worker that helped us keep leaving and made one of my subs that had chicken on it cold will they were still marking it Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10
