My fiancé asked if they had Dr. Pepper, and the server replied rudely but then unnecessarily snatched the menu out of my hand and roughly pointed at the drinks section. This kind of behavior continued throughout the meal – curt, uninterested, and it felt like she couldn't be bothered to help us because we were inconveniencing her. I have worked in the food industry, so I understand that servers can be busy, stressed, or tired at the end of the day. I don't expect constant smiles, but a little attentiveness goes a long way. Servers don't get paid enough these days, especially when their tips are likely split, so I try to be understanding. As for the food, the burgers were decent, a bit overcooked but still tasty. The fries were dry and hard as sticks, though. My fiancé tried to eat one and had a comical reaction, but overall, the fries were a disappointing experience. I would rate the food as 2 out of 5 – the burgers were good, and the bartender who finally showed up to seat us was efficient, although a bit shady for taking so long. (Now onto the hostess situation).
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat with plenty of televisions to enjoy. The bartender seemed overwhelmed and had a lot on his plate, but he managed to handle it all. There were many young waitresses aimlessly walking around, not acknowledging customers when they entered. I stood waiting for about 4 minutes before one of them finally noticed me. After seating myself, it took about 15 minutes to flag down a waitress for assistance, but once I did, my order was taken promptly and efficiently. Overall, the service was a bit lacking but the food came out quickly, which was a plus.
The customer service was excellent, the service was fast, and the wings were delicious. I cleaned my plate! The server let us order lunch even though we arrived only 5 minutes before closing. Overall, a great experience.
I remember when this place was new in macon. I never had a chance to go because it was always busy. the first time that we had the service and eating was great. I came back to this place a long time ago and it looks like a lost business. the first thing I see is they're sorrowed. this place smells so bad when they come like a damp cloth mixed for days with not a shower for days. so rough. the only good thing I found is the badgeruch better than the restaurant and the waiters were beautiful and always take care of us. I feel so bad to go so that I think the bad smell is all the time. the white young lady with glasses was so beautiful. I don't know her name. but different from that. I feel so bad for employees or whatever who runs this business. very disappointed!
Let me start by saying I never do reviews. I certainly never do bad reviews. This place has systemic problems. I’ve been here four times now and there are always problems. Always slow. Ridiculously slow. Never had a good experience. So tonight I spent over a hundred bucks on a to-go order and 3 beers. It took sooo long. Then I got home and my order is incomplete. Wings are flavorless. And one of my kids burgers had mayo which I specifically said no condiments on either burger. So now I have to deal with that. And before anyone asks if I contacted a manager before giving a bad review… yes I tried twice and no one answered. So this is where I am. I’m not this petty. I’m reasonable. But this is my last recourse, to notify others of what to expect. I’m done. I understand staffing issues but I have never seen a manager on duty in this place. Not once. It’s systemic.
