Bicycle Street Inn Suites

Loved our stay here! Multiple times we commented to each other about how nice different things were. Rooms are very spacious, quiet, and clean. They’re modern and luxurious, not creepy or outdated like most of the hotels on the island (no offense to them, I know it’s the vibe of the island but it just isn’t my cup of tea). The location could not have been better, and I loved where our room was as well- super easy to get to the street. Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful, and our room was ready at 12:30- a huge help with our kids! Our luggage was taken off the ferry and delivered straight to our room, so helpful! The mini fridge was actually cold, and thermostat worked accurately. And the shower was absolutely amazing, great water pressure and the hottest water I’ve ever felt- can’t even get it that hot at my own house! Just overall a wonderful stay and if we come back to the island again we will definitely be staying here!

We so enjoyed our stay at Bicycle Street. We stayed in a “courtyard view” room, not really a courtyard but that’s ok. It was super quiet and we slept wonderfully.Convenient overnight indoor bike storage, wonderful staff, free porter to ferry… although it’s close enough you could just walk your bags down there. Really nothing bad to say!

We had a great experience here. We had a room with a huge bay window facing Main Street which opened up the room so much and my kids loved watching activities on the street whenever we were in the room. Also gave me something to enjoy when the kids napped! Great location. Friendly staff. One of our bags didn’t make it to our room and the staff was great at finding it and got it to us very quickly. A simple mistake handled very well. There is street noise as expected but once the last ferry left around 10, it was very quiet with only a few outliers and the location is well worth it to wake up to the sound of horses walking the street in the morning. Very very clean too.

My wife tested positive for Covid a day before our trip. Trying to do the responsible thing, we called to try and cancel and the manager told us they would rather have us there with Covid than to refund a two night stay. I mean, we are paying for it either way, I guess we will see you there. Who else is going for Labor Day weekend?Update: After posting this review, the General Manager offered to allow us to reschedule but only for this year. It is already Labor Day weekend, so no refund for the difference of the off peak rate. Since the hotel feels Covid is nothing to be concerned about, we are still keeping the reservation.

The location, the staff, the cleanliness are unmatched. I only stay here every time I come to Mackinac Island. The waterfront rooms are nice but it’s also fun to people watch from the Main Street balconies.Walkability: It’s in the middle of Main Street.
