Or... decadence sans elegance. I was once a reference restaurant, mainly for food quality but noted for weak service and charming but impractical physical space :p Still worth ONE try if you haven't already.

The food is pretty good, however it takes so long to be served and is extremely expensive. And honestly I enjoyed the restaurant away more a few years ago with the rustic style.

Location ok and food appeared ok, however we were there for a light lunch and specifically enquired what time they closed and were informed 17.00hrs. I double checked as the menu stated 16.00. Returned at 16.30 to be told that they had closed. Clearly the staff have absolutely no idea, which does not inspire confidence at all. Best avoid.

I ate 4 different dishes at this place and all were delicious.Amazon endemic fish are available there (fried or in moqueca), great caipirinha, natural fruit juices.The service is fast, but not that wonderful.It is rather a casual, low-middle class restaurant, as far as the interior design is concerned, but the food is wonderful!Frequented mostly by many locals. Reservations recommended, esp. in the evening.
