Pop's Italian Beef Sausage - Lyons

On my first visit, I ordered the Italian beef with sweet and hot peppers, and it was fantastic. The peppers could have used a bit more spice, but the beef was excellent!

For reasons I can't quite explain, this place has a few standout dishes that could be among the best in Chicago—maybe even four! The beef is exceptional, the Italian sausage is a must-try, and the cream of chicken rice soup, a Greek Sunday favorite, is simply delicious. The fourth standout is actually a condiment: the hot and mild gardenia. I feel incredibly fortunate that it's only three blocks away from my house!

My favorite place for a combo in Lyons! I love the dipped combo with hot and American cheese. I know, the cheese is a bit indulgent! The prices are fantastic and the portion sizes are generous. Definitely worth a visit!

I have to say. My first time stopping in. I had 2 hot dogs... you can't go wrong.. very good. My friend had the Double cheeseburger also lot of flavor.. thank you guys and girls. Also

I haven't even gotten home to eat yet and will already go back based on the great service. The young girl was new, you could tell but she took her time, got it right, asked the right questions, and SMILED. We had a large order and she didn't get flustered or frustrated even once. Very polite. Everyone around was very polite. I'll update once I've eaten but already I can tell you portions are big. I have 4 meatballs on my regular-sized sub. 4! Now I can cut it in half and not have a meatball fall out! Win for sure! Great job guys!
