One of the heaviest meals I've ever had. The price doesn't even matter. You pick the menu and wait. The waiter will bring you 7-8 buckets (I'm not kidding) with various salads (all good, all meat, all sauce-y). After finishing the salads and feeling stuffed...already, you are served the actual entree that, as you guessed, is meat-based. An andouillette (a sausage filled with all kinds of meat leftovers) comes bathed in a spicy tomato sauce with potatoes au gratin swimming in butter. Fresh bread, good red wine. You gasp and think you're done but, no! The waiter comes with a number of assorted desserts, some of them in...buckets (the boules-de-neige are as fresh as they make them). The evening comes to an end but your digestion just starts. And continues for 3-4 days or so. Nevertheless, an experience not to miss. Good, honest, local food in an unpretentious atmosphere. You gotta go!

One of the most authentic bouchon in Lyon. Old style lyonnaise cuisine with very reach starters, main dish and variety of desserts. Starters as well as main dish includes a lot of intestines, so one should be avare if one likes this particular part or...not. Alltogether, for relatively small price you get a lot of local tasty but simple food. I wood recommend
