The Ship Inn - Lymington

One of the few places where we could find open food and drinks all day. delicious food to very cheap trips. the crispy duck pizza was unusual and tasty and my friend enjoyed the salmon and was thrilled to find they had halloumi fries on. the menu. nice, friendly staff with good service.

The location at the town quay is perfect and eating is good and cheap, but its biggest good is its staff. jack has made us very welcome and supervised us during our visit.

We were greeted by the waitress and said: “You have pulled the short today, I will serve you.” I am sure she tried to be amusing, but it was not a very inviting start. we ordered the brie in panko crumbs, although it didn't resemble any...panko I ate. it was also cold. the main course came hotter than the sun, including the metal-handed soße jug, which my man burned his hand. that was all cooked. there are many good restaurants in lymington and, according to my opinion, this is not one of them.

Friendly, helpful staff and very good service. good selection of meals in the offer and beautiful interieur. the food was well presented and delicious. good choice of weeping and ales (from cornwall, but that is not bad thing.)

Booked for 15 people for my wife’s 40th Birthday.Food was fantastic as was the service. Sophie was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend
