Wheelhouse Motel & Dining Room

The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is pleasant. While the decor may not be extravagant, the atmosphere is cozy and has everything you need. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The owner is also knowledgeable about the area and can provide helpful recommendations for places to visit.

We had only positive things to say about the staff, who were lovely. Although the food was just average, we had no complaints. We tried the fish and chips, which were okay, but we've had better elsewhere.

No dining room, since there are new owner's! They should mention it , because we thought there was a dining room.on the site were we reserve. Rooms OK, but very simple and clean. No air conditioning. Close to grocery, liquor store and 10 min walk to centre.

If all you need to do is eat, there's food there. I had the dip with some bread of sorts...didn't know what it would come with. Turns out, rock hard triangles of overly cooked tortilla wraps. My dining partner had the Grilled Haddock with ordinary potatoes and frozen vegetables. YUM. We went because it was walking distance from our motel. Next time, I'd walk further.

Food,service and location are adequate. Nothing special. Try the Knott Pub better prices and better food.
