Ludwigsluster Schloss-cafe

On the way back from merseburg we were in the ludwigslust station. in front of the castle stood in large numbers vehicles of visitors, and we were glad to catch a free space in the castle café before the masses were flushed there by the incoming rain. the cards were on the tables, and so we had already decided that shortly after our arrival a service came on our table. a little later, another operation came and brought the ordered drinks and a little later cake and torte. Despite the weather-related enormous degressions, the ladies in the service were not coming out of the rest. seemingly tireless they rushed between the tables, commanded and served and always remained friendly and accommodating. it was obvious that these trained and routine forces were and did not help the staff. the offer includes various hot drinks, cakes and ice cups as well as various hot dishes. we had coffee and ordered therefore cappucino and milk coffee (each 3,00 €. madame then could be a piece of mandelbutter cream cake (3,50 €) I decided to make a piece of poppy cake (2,90 € . the drinks were brought fast, cake and torte needed only a little longer. why the poppy cake was poured with a small sea-thorn juice, he does not reveal to me, the taste was not disturbed any further. it was plentiful and after it tasted. the torte also made a very good impression, in my example the mandels were clearly tasted by the butter cream. the hot beverages came from the fauching high-performance product of a well-known German manufacturer and were very good as expected. the caffeine with a large terrace is located in the historic “Jagdzimmer” on the ground floor of the castle and offers a great view of the castle park. the device is based on the name of the room martial, numerous jagdtrophic hangs everywhere on the walls, partly in several rows over each other. cleanliness despite the enormous amounts of visitors and the muddy weather, the floor was quite clean, the serrated space overall was very well maintained. of course were teller, glasses and cutlery perfectly clean and the tables were neat and clean.

A lovely cafe in the room with all the hunting trophies on the walls. Staff very friendly and service excellent. We can highly recommend the solyanka, although the cake was lovely too.

The terrasse is nice, the indoor part is full of hunting trophies and a site to behold. The ice cream and drinks were fine. We did not eat.

A friendly service combined with fine cake from the bakery gives you a wonderful relaxed afternoon at the castle. This is a elegant design combined with the hunting area and modern design.
