A visit to our friends in Lucca is never complete without a pizza at this wonderful, unpretentious family restaurant. It's well off the tourist track, with most customers being local workers in trade vans. The prices are great value the large, fresh pizzas are superb! An authentic menu in an authentic setting. We love it!

Lunch time menu is 10euros a head, good choice of starters , Ihad pasta with porcini, main couses are very varied, we had pollo al forno with patatl fritti and insalata,excellent. 2 coures a half litre of wine and aqua mineraleand coffees.Friendly service, full of local Italians. Well recommended.

We came here after two other restaurants we tried were full. It's easy to find with ample parking at the back of the building. The menu was a choice of 4 starters, and 4/5 mains, plus a side dish, coffee and wine for €10 per person. The soup was absolutely delicious, and a very generous portion, my husband had spaghetti with olives and sausage, very well seasoned and fresh. For mains we had chicken and turkey, simple but well cooked and very tasty. Great coffee too. Fast friendly service. Highly recommended.

We were well, you want for the good company, you want for the good dishes and accomplice a bottle of red wine of the farm the tower of montecarlo. honest price.

We went for lunch at the local restaurant in Tuesday with a friend. The pranzo di Lavoro was excellent, a good range of choice for both starters and main courses. The farro .con pesto was great,followed by arosto al forno with chick peas, patatini and salad. Excellent,local wine, water and coffees. Ten euros a head. Well worth a visit, the evening menu is more extensive and excellent. The pizzas are fantastic, cooked in the wood fired oven.
