Osteria Lo Stellario - LUCCA

Came in here for dinner on a Saturday evening early enough to not need a reservation and the place was very busy. Since it was only two of us we were able to get a table and had a really good meal. Taglietelle with creamy mushroom sauce and a Lasagne, with verdure al forno, and a small salad to split between the two of us. A couple of glasses of wine and a bottle of waterr to round out the meal. The wait staff was very good, and it was a very vibrant atmosphere more modern music playing and people bustling around. Great spot for a meal

Amazing food and wine. Super simple menu and fantastically delicious. We simply had burrata and tomatoes and pica and Roe Deer ragu and it was fabulous. Very lovely waiters.

The Osteria is perfectly located in the Piazza San Francesco and has a great vibe morning, noon and night. We visited multiple times during our stay in Lucca, mostly for coffee which was excellent, the best in the area. The Osteria also offers a fine array of pastries and cakes. The venue is terrific for Aperitivo, we had good priced drinks and a classy wine list. Live music is also adding to the ambience and you can easily settle in and stay on for dinner if you wish. If you are in Lucca, I would highly recommend the Osteria for an authentic experience.

Lunch on the flight just arrived in the center of luxe on the day of the befana almost at closing time, we enter a little blind but we dare satisfied of our lunch. the kitchen is very simple and osteria, with typical dishes but homemade and at the moment. a note of merit to the girl who greeted us and served us, which even if messed up was really nice and professional. Esquire shopping, about € per head with a plate each and drinks.

Great! sincerely recommended! I would return. excellent fried polenta, but the roasted pumpkin with cheese is really super! beer to the particular and delicious plug. quiet and friendly service.
