Excellent chocolate donut. Coffee average. Sausage roll okay. Service could be improved. Maybe smile. Very popular none the less.

I was so happy to find this bakery 4 years ago because I can purchase delicious meat pies that suit my dietary requirements. Each time we go through Loxton to our annual houseboat trip I order a few GF/DF pies to take with me and collect half a dozen on the way home for my freezer.

This baker was recommended to us for breakfast so we headed down to Loxton this morning, and we weren’t disappointed. This place is so busy! It wasn’t exactly ‘sparrows’ when we arrived but for a Monday mid-morning, it was impressively busy. But they are hard working and well organised so everything seems to run smoothly. This is a traditional bakery but their breakfast menu was much more varied that I was expecting. Good value, good service, everything spotlessly clean and great food too.

The dark seed bread filled with fresh salad is a deliciously textured, tasty and healthy lunch. The home made take home soups and lasagnes are also enjoyable.
