The pico de gallo was delicious as well as their different sauces they gave us after our food arrived (I think they were different salsa verdes) and of course our meals were good, too. The carnitas tacos were our favorite.
Great place great food! Owner operated like I am. Always extremely consistent. It's a small place so get there early!
I give it 3 stars only because the chilaquiles were very tasty. But my girlfriend ordered some gorditas which seemed more sopes than gorditas. The flavor of these gorditas was not very good either, I think it was the flavor of the beans which could have been better. I didn't really like the waitress service either. She seemed a little upset during our stay.
Mexican food is so much more than tacos. I urge everyone to try their other dishes. The adobo de puerco is deliciously spicy, reminiscent of Goan curry. It’s my favorite thing on the menu, but I don’t recommend it if you can’t handle spicy food. The menudo and mole are also great. El Paisano is run by a family from Puebla. They often serve food with mole poblano, a Pueblan regional specialty that’s spicier and less sweet than the Oaxacan moles.
El Paisano is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. Our go-tos are the Adobo del Puerco and the cecina (salty beef) burritos. Don't forget to ask for the jalapeño crema! Parking: There are about 6 spots on the side of the building in a private lot.
