They are the friendliest group of people and they come back year after year! The best fish and onions in Louisville by far!!! This place is a LEGEND here in Louisville. I have been going there for over 35 years and although inflation makes the price go up and portions go down, I will still buy it no matter what.

I tried Suburban's fish for the first time 11 years ago, and have been hooked ever since! It is my favorite spot on Saturday to grab a bite to eat. In my honest opinion, it is the best fish in the whole wide world! You can order a sandwich, a platter comes with fries coleslaw), or fish by the pound $11 per pound). I truly get depressed each year when it is time to close up for the winter Nov March). Each year, I count down to opening day to get my fix after the long wait. Haha! If you have not tried it you are missing out. Come with cash!!! They don't take cards... And you need money to buy from the cute little old ladies' bake sale that is always set up there!

The green river breaded fish at this restaurant is fantastic, and the fries are perfectly crispy and delicious!

I recently tried the fish at this restaurant for the first time and it was delicious. The fish was fresh and hot, and I am definitely planning on going back for more.
