Milantoni Italian - Louisville

One of the best Italian restaurants in Louisville. Don't be fooled from outside. What on the inside is great food and excellent service. The menu gives you a lot more choice of Italian food than the more expensive restaurants in the area. I ordered the tour of Italy and it was enough food for two. Of course I had a lot of leftovers for later. The quality of food is really great. The prices on the menu are also really great. If you decide to eat, call first upon availability. Once inside be ready to wait just a little while because the food is made to order what is a good thing. Her pasta did not sit in Luke warm water for hours and your sauce was not charred on the ground. Make sure to check their $5.99 lunch specialties during the weekdays!

Outer appearance does not compare with the experience inside! Brittany (sorry, if I wrote your name incorrectly) welcomed, sat and waited immediately for my husband and me. We ordered the Bruschetta de Milantoni as our appetizer, which was the perfect texture and so delicious. Our entrees included Catalina Florentine (proposed by “B” when I told her what I was between), and Mediterraneo. Both dishes were served hot, in good time, and we were blown away from portion size and how delicious they were; my mouth is still watered! Not only my husband and I have remnants of our ducks, we ordered a Cannoli and 16” White Pizza Pie (w/o tomatoes) to go! What a delightful furnishings- juicy and friendly with mood setting Italian music playing in the background. We'll be back DEFINITELY!

Friday nights an amazingly talented violinist plays a wonderful selection of dining music. A glass of Merlot, delicious pasta, and soothing music made my night. I highly recommend this friendly, family restaurant.

Everything was amazing and tasted homemade. The owner was so nice and the service was amazing. When we come to Louisville we will be back. The portions were huge and the food and service was impeccable. The bathrooms were very clean also.

I will not patronize this establishment again nor recommend it to anyone.
