The tomato soup is by far the best I've ever had. The gyro is delicious. The people are super friendly. Go here.
It's a small storefront and not much room inside, but the smells and staff are very welcoming! There is a sign outside that displays specials and customer favorites. When you step inside it's usually crowded with folks waiting for their food, which is always a good sign. There are several high top tables inside if customers choose to eat their food inside, but most of the business is togo. Today I called to place my order. I ordered my regular, Greek Gyro at $10. It was easy to place and I wasn't quoted a time, but was told to come on over. I don't waited about 5 minutes and then walked over. When I arrived it was ready and I just had a brief wait to pay for my food. The owner, or the nice woman that is always there, is so friendly. She greets customers by name and thanked me by name as I left. I was also encouraged to come back soon! The Greek gyro is one of my favorite items, I've ordered it several times now and can't move on to try other items. The meal comes with two grape leaves, a scoop of hummus and gyro meat on buttered and grilled flatbread with tizatziki, tomatoes, cucumbers. It's perfectly filling and everything compliments each other. The grape leaves are stuffed a delicious rice mixture, the hummus is not super creamy, but looks homemade. It pairs perfectly with the gyro or the flatbread if you deconstruct the gyro, like I do. My belly is full and extremely happy. Would highly recommend!
Love the food and the folks at HB. Fresh, delicious, and from the heart!
Wonderful service. I had the salmon burger and it had a nice savory flavor and was cooked just right.
