No one picked up the phone so I went inside and it was chaotic because people were unsure of how to get their food. I got the bbq tofu, greens, Mac and cheeze, and jambalaya. The tofu and jambalaya was just okay, the greens were spicy with no other flavor, and the Mac and cheeze was flavorless. Needless to say, that was definitely my first and last visit to this establishment.
I don't know what I got but it was some of the worst tasting vegan food I've ever had. Just because it's vegan doesn't mean that it has to be disgusting. The food was just thrown together and I was really looking forward to a vegan soul food place close to my house too. I swear it looks like they put all the ingredients in the box, shook it up and then served it to you. PLEASE do not eat here. Save your money. Wish I had recommendations but I'm still searching around. The food was just straight disrespectful with every bite
My partner and I ordered from their ghost kitchen. We ordered the sampler plate because we've been excitedly trying vegan food around LA as of late. Sadly, there was nothing on the plate that is noteworthy, at least not in a positive light. I'll spare most of the details but the food was just poorly presented, poorly prepared, and taste was lackluster at best. Anything breaded was barely sticking to the food and the breading itself was salty. Definitely won't be back. Only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because I feel like I've eaten worse food before. Save your money, shop elsewhere.
Delicious food, but the Southern fried tofu had smaller portions than their Los Angeles location.
Delectable and more affordable than many other delicious Vegan spots. So far EVERYTHING I've ordered has been 10/10
