The Marina Cafe - Long Eaton

After a lovely stroll along the canal, this was a perfect spot for a late lunch. Despite the hour, the restaurant was still bustling, but we were seated and served promptly. The food was excellent, with generous portions and attentive staff. Everything was freshly prepared and homemade. We never felt rushed and truly enjoyed a relaxing break before continuing our walk. I will definitely return!

I love coming here, whether for a coffee and cake or a meal. The food and service are consistently excellent. The staff is very friendly, and the cakes are amazing! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice café with great food and service. There's also free parking available for a limited number of hours.

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. They offer a great deal on fish, where you can get two for the price of one. We ordered the fish, and it was huge! The tea was served in a large cup, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was excellent value for money. The only downside was that they stop serving food at 4 PM, which left a few customers who arrived at that time disappointed. The place was also very clean, which is always a plus."

The chips were fantastic, the thick soup was wonderfully flavorful, and the warm baguette with real butter was delightful. My husband enjoyed a large sausage sandwich that he found delicious. Overall, the experience and service were wonderful.
