Mcloone's Pier House - Long Branch

I have visited this restaurant many times. Today, we chose to sit outside and were served by a delightful waitress. She was extremely courteous, cheerful, and charming. It was a delight to receive such great service, and the food was also good.

I really enjoy Rooney's restaurant. Whenever we are in Long Branch, we always make sure to go there. However, if you don't have a seat with an ocean view, the experience is not as good. I specifically choose Rooney's for the ocean views, so I find the dinner menu to be lacking. The food is quite pricey for what you receive. Personally, I think their lunch menu is better.

The filet was overcooked and the server was not friendly.

Server was bringing water 30 minutes into the wait. Everything else was also slow. Food wasn’t good. My oysters were horrible. Old and dry, inedible.

7 pm reservation. Table behind us had young kids. Trashed the area and doing cartwheels. Parents did nothing to control the situation Food was excellent. Service was great
