Overall, I only felt like an annoying to give up an order. they also got my milk preference wrong when I got my drink. After I have all the positive reviews and how popular this shop is, I was shocked by this experience, but I will give it another try to see if it was just a free day.
THE coffee shop of Long Beach. I've been going here for years and every time I feel I'm in the right place for creativity, focus, and community. I would show up at 6am and stay until 12pm studying and just watching Viento y Agua come alive is beautiful. It's sad to see 1 star reviews on a local business that is a huge part of Long Beach, especially when locals have seen Big B (the owner) be there every day connecting w/every local or new customer. You won't find another coffee shop in the city that gives the same energy as Viento. Let's put things in perspective and realize how tough it has been for local businesses to still be standing through an economic rollercoaster the last couple of years and especially now during a recession (let's be honest). Every time I step into Viento y Agua, I see an owner giving all he's got to the community. It'd be nice to have patience and allow them some grace with a few new baristas
Just ok. This is a place people come for the vibes so I can see why people like visiting. It has that friends at central perk feel. I looked up the ownership because it looks to lean hard on a Latino aesthetic. It was partly founded/started with a Mexican woman but that isn 't the case now (as far as I know). I was really excited to visit this place because I 'd pass by so many times and liked the look of the classic coffee shop. I got the blended Mexican mocha. Not great but also not terrible. It was super watered down. Not a big deal since many people really enjoy their drinks here from what I 've read in the other reviews so I 'll have to give it another try.
A little pricey but the drinks are delicious! Especially the traditional mocha or Mexican mocha so good! The vibe is very cool and artistic. The owner is super friendly. I highly recommend.
Love the aesthetics and vibe of Viento y Agua! I got the Mexican Mocha Blended drink and it was sooo good...it taste like Iced Mexican Chocolate but it's a good balance of sweetness The staff is also amazing!
