The 908 - Long Beach

This place never disappointed!!! The service is impeccable, large wine and special cocktails. Your food is AMAZING!!! This place is our destination for special occasions... We recently celebrated our anniversary and I ordered the shortrib w/mashed potatoes vegetables. My husband had the ribey, potatoes and asparagus for dinner... of course we started with the Ceasar Salat and Calamari as an appetizer YUM! The Calamari was so fresh, crispy, not chewing and the dipping sauces were delish!!! At the end of our night the waiter came with a free dessert chocolate cake and ice cream, so decadent and a perfect way to finish the night...

Large and super trendy place for drinks or a nice meal. All we tried from the large and varied menu was delicious, except the Tomohawk Steak was only average, ironically the most expensive element). Sandwiches and burgers are usually $18 to $20) but some of the full entrees run into the $40s and above. There is also a large beverage card and barbecue. Service was great! The restaurant is located in a complex full of similar hip phrases that makes for a fun environment, but also means parking can be hard.

I absolutely adore The 908. It's the perfect little local coffee shop with the kindest people working behind the counter. I love their breakfast sandwiches and scones! I mostly stick with regular coffee but their specialty drinks are quite tasty!

Good variety of dishes. Reasonable prices. Great cocktails, even better during happy hour. Very nice interior, not too busy.

Happy hour!!! We were just looking for a place to have a decent drink before dinner so we came over to 908 and SO glad we did! We happened upon happy hour where they had $4-$7 off drinks and $4 off apps. Their drinks were amazing! I had the Paloma (didnt get a pic) and a blood orange margarita (seasonal) and they were both SO good! My husband had his usual, old fashioned. He said it was perfect. We also shared their tuna lettuce wraps app and it was really delicious. The tuna was very fresh. It came with some sliced avocado, rice with some type of soy sauce on top and some really good Wasabi sauce. Really glad we found 908 and can not wait to go back for dinner!! This will be one of our regular spots when we visit Long Beach!
