Tajima Ramen Long Beach

This raven is absolutely delicious! I was in several “traditional” places in Little Tokyo and this place holds among them. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews here. This place is great!

I would drive from anywhere to their VEGAN RAMEN... it is the most creamy and absolutely best! I add extra garlic or extra fried tofu! Ohh... the SPINACH NOODLES are so delicious! Even if you are not vegan, this is a must! That's what I suggest.

If you are in Long Beach, this is probably the best you can get in the area. Otherwise you should travel a bit further (and probably pay more) for the same quality or better. I personally enjoy their rams a lot. I have their $11 Tajima ramen during lunchtime. The waiting time was about 20 minutes. I had her ramen before they served it in a plastic or polystyrene bowl. I'm glad they changed it into these black bowls. Pasta: Medium strength I like. Breadh: Very good taste. Rich, but not transferred. Meat: You get a fat piece of pig belly... best part! Eggs: The egg I got was okay. The one I got was almost boiled all the way. Toppings: You get a lot of garlic, onions and sprouts. Overall, I think this is a great place for a reasonable price. I'll be back.

Tajima Ramen is part of the Steelcraft family near Bixby Knolls on Long Beach Blvd. Long Beach generally lacks special-wheel shops and it was quite exciting for me to let Tajima arrive in the city. I wasn't disappointed! I would like to mention that her broth uses a lot of garlic, so if you don't have a garlic-y bread, that could not be for you. Otherwise I really liked her ramen. You even have a vegetarian ramen that is also really good. I give them only 4 stars because I think the share is a little small for the price you pay. They wanted to make them a little bigger and more satisfied.

Location Inside the steelcraft area amongst others restaurants. Venue Not much to say since its a shipping container but they keep the area clean. Parking Limited parking around here, but if you go across the street they have a bigger lot. Prices Fair pricing as it is priced with competition. Service Line moves quick and the employees here are nice and explain stuff to you. Food Ramen wasn't bad but I've had better at there main location in S.D. that is delicious and feels like larger bowls. Overall good experience but could use a step up on flavor.
