Plancha Latin Kitchen - Long Beach

I really really wanted to like it here! Sadly, my order was just not it. Walking in, i was shocked to see it so empty on a Thursday night considering they offer drinks and beer on tap etc. there was no AC, and the poor staff were all so hot fanning themselves. I ordered the mango avocado tostada with shrimp to-go. The moment I got it in my car, something just did not smell right. Once home I opened my order and the shrimp smelled old and fishy and were super hard : I really really hope they are successful because it would be awesome to have a cool margarita spot with good food at LBX but I have to say it was just such a sad experience. Wishing them the very best and hopefully I will be back to try again!

Ok I'm in LOVE with their Yucca Fries!!! But they are SO I have no choice but to pay for these goodies. I add in their Chimichurri sauce which has the right amount of garlic and parsley! So tasty! I've also had their Tostada Chicken salad it was fine. Chicken not tender at all. I probably wouldn't order it again. I would appreciate having black beans again too! For some reason, they took black beans off the menu. Sad face!

Restaurant is clean plenty of space both indoor and outdoor. The menu is simple bowls burritos or tacos and a small limited alcohol menu. I ordered the ropa vieja and a round of drinks. 50 dollars later and completely underwhelmed I was actually glad I came at least to try their food but won't be coming back. Small portions literally both food and drink with rather big prices. Ropa vieja was flavorful but barely enough eat to consider it satisfying.

This place is so good, my family and I loved it. Caught this place by accident and a good thing too. Their food sizes are decant yet filling. Nothing tasted greasy at all, tasted fresh.

Customer service was good and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. I love the concept and set up. The food is just not good unfortunately. Very plain and no flavor or seasoning in my opinion. Sorry but I wouldn't come back.
