I can't remember what we both had, but I remember that the drinks were a good pouring out, the server was accommodating, and I wasn't annoying and dissatisfied after our meal. there are several other places to eat (dinner) in lone pine and we tried two others, much to our regret, so stay with seasons and they get a decent meal at a decent price.
We are fussy and snobby London foodies on our US road trip. We drove through Death Valley to Lone Pine where our food expectations were pretty low. Lovely then to be surprised by Edgar and the folks at Seasons. Really nice food served by really nice people. Not cheap but good for us.
We accidentally walked into this restaurant thinking we were going to the one next door), but decided to stay and try it. This place is quite high-endgor a very small town population a little over 2000) The staff was well dressed in black attire. We were immediately seated and served water as well as a basket of hot, out of the oven, sourdough bread. The menu includes entrees from sandwiches 14) to prime steaks, lamb and Elk up to $45). My vegetarian pasta with pesto was beautiful as well as delicious. My husband's Philly cheese steak sandwich was freshly prepared and served on delicious bread. Most salad dressings are made in house..
Twelve of us descended unannounced one evening and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They quickly pulled tables together for us. Service was quick and accurate. They billed us by couples/family units. My side salad was very generous… my grilled cheese was fine. We received generous pours of wine by the glass. I would definitely return.
From the very pleasant and efficient staff to the quality and taste of the food, it was a very good dining experience.
